libc6-ppc64 software package provides GNU C Library: 64bit Shared libraries for PowerPC64, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libc6-ppc64
libc6-ppc64 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libc6-ppc64 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libc6-ppc64 *
You will get with libc6-ppc64 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
